AUREA JOLLY - AMRITA
Aurea loves to act, dance, and sing. She is a bilingual speaker fluent in Hindi. Previous to (Out)caste, Aurea appeared in short films 'Our Time' directed by Arpita Kumar and 'Petro' directed by Josh Beck. Dancing is also another passion for Aurea. She is trained in ballet, hip-hop, tumbling, and Bollywood contemporary. Currently, she is being trained for a solo performance by the renowned choreographer Nakul Dev Mahajan (official choreographer of 'So You Think You Can Dance'), and the performance will be showcased in 'Ek Do Teen' by Nakul Dev Mahajan.
NANDINI MINOCHA - DASI
Nandini has had a lifelong passion for performing & acting and decided to follow it professionally in the last 5 years. In this time, she has had much success with both drama and comedy. Her most recent comedic achievement has been a series regular role as 'Manjusha' in the show 'Magic Funhouse' by Fullscreen. 'Magic Funhouse' was recently renewed for its 2nd season, scheduled to be released in late 2017.
Nandini has worked with the likes of Billy Bob Thornton & Mindy Kaling in 'Goliath' & 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Dramatically, she is known for playing a supporting role in 'Miss India America' and leading roles in the films 'RESET' and 'Love Goes Through Your Stomach'.
DEEPTI GUPTA - MRS SHAH
Praised by The New York Times for her performance in the feature film 'Walkaway', Deepti Gupta's career spans across India, Singapore, Pakistan, and the United States. 'Record/Play', a sci-fi short film with Deepti as the female lead, was an official selection at Sundance 2013 and LA Film Festival among others. Her latest short film, 'Rated', has been selected by the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival among others. She earned her MFA in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in Theatre Studies from National University of Singapore. Besides working as an actress, she does voiceovers and audio books and works as a diversity consultant for corporate firms. Early 2017, she can be seen as a controlling mom in executive producer Tina Fey's upcoming show, 'Great News', on NBC.
